Why traders use WebTrader.
Zero setup
Sign in, tap WebTrader, start trading. No installer, no restart, no permissions. Ideal for work laptops, school computers, or travel setups where installing software isn't an option.
Real-time sync
Positions opened on desktop appear instantly in WebTrader. Close a trade on your phone — the WebTrader chart updates immediately. One account, every surface.
Every modern browser
Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Brave. Mac, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS. Tablet in landscape. As long as it's HTML5, WebTrader works.
Full charting
80+ indicators, 21 timeframes, drawing tools, multi-chart layouts. The only thing missing vs desktop is MQL5 EA execution — which needs the installed app anyway.
WebTrader vs Desktop MT5.
WebTrader questions.
What is NAMH WebTrader?+
NAMH WebTrader is the browser-based version of MetaTrader 5. It runs inside any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) without any software install. Your account, positions, and trade history sync in real time with the desktop and mobile apps. It covers ~95% of MT5's functionality — full charting, one-click trading, indicators, and order management.
Is WebTrader the same as MT5 desktop?+
Nearly identical for day-to-day trading. You get the same charts, indicators, timeframes, and order types. The differences are in automated trading (MQL5 EAs and custom indicators still require the desktop MT5 installation) and in the MetaQuotes market (browse-only in WebTrader, full purchase/install only on desktop). For anyone who just trades, not develops — WebTrader is enough.
What browsers does WebTrader support?+
All modern browsers on desktop and tablet: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Brave. On mobile, we recommend the native MT5 apps instead — browser-based trading on small screens is cramped and the dedicated apps are dramatically better.
Do I need to install anything for WebTrader?+
No. Navigate to the WebTrader URL after logging into your NAMH member portal — the platform loads instantly. No plugins, no Flash, no Java — pure HTML5.
Does WebTrader work offline?+
No. WebTrader requires an active internet connection to stream market data and send orders. If you need offline functionality (like backtesting), use the MT5 desktop app instead.
Is WebTrader free?+
Yes. WebTrader is free on every NAMH account type including Demo. You pay only for the trades you make (spread or commission, same as any other MT5 access point).
