What WebTrader does
Nothing to install
Open WebTrader and log in with your MT5 login and password. You don't need admin rights or an installer, so it works on a work computer or a shared machine where you can't install software.
Same account as your other devices
Positions you open on desktop show in WebTrader too. Close a trade on your phone and it closes in WebTrader as well.
Browsers
Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Brave, on Mac, Windows, Linux or ChromeOS. It also works on a tablet turned sideways.
Charts
21 timeframes, the standard indicators, drawing tools and several charts at once. WebTrader cannot run Expert Advisors or custom indicators, and has no Strategy Tester or code editor.

What is WebTrader?+
WebTrader is the browser version of MetaTrader 5, made by MetaQuotes. It runs in your browser without installing anything, and covers charts, order entry and account history.
Is WebTrader the same as MT5 desktop?+
No. You get the same timeframes and order types and the standard indicators, but WebTrader cannot run Expert Advisors or custom indicators, and it has no Strategy Tester or code editor. If you trade by hand and don't use EAs, it has what you need.
What browsers does WebTrader support?+
Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Brave, on a computer or a tablet. On a phone, the MT5 app is easier to use than a browser.
Do I need to install anything for WebTrader?+

No. WebTrader needs an internet connection to stream prices and send orders.

Yes. There is no charge for WebTrader on any account, including demo. Costs are the same as on desktop: the spread, plus $5 per standard lot, round turn on ECN, plus swap on positions held overnight.
